Johnny Doan (JD) is a migrant settler with Cantonese and South Vietnamese heritage.They are a Counsellor at Holyoake, Director at Community Arts Network Community Arts Network and have extensive governance experience from previous board roles. In addition, JD provides advisory services to arts organisations, start-ups and non-for-profits. As an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, they also mentor emerging leaders from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.JD is a Changemakers Fellow at Australian Progress, an alumni of the Office for Multicultural Interests Leadership and Governance Program, Co-Founded the ProFound Incubator and was Co-Director at Paper Mountain. They have had the privelege of speaking at a number of events, including TEDx, NENA and the Kolyang Creative Hub.As an artist, thy explore ideas of kinship, having worked with Perth Festival, The Blue Room Theatre and The Last Great Hunt.
